Christmas is Coming

Once again, thanks to the generosity and compassion of our students and staff, our 30 shoeboxes have been collected for ‘Operation Christmas Child’. The shoeboxes contain small gifts which will be given to orphans and poor children, mostly in Eastern Europe, who otherwise would not receive anything special at Christmas.

Over ten years ago the then student council wished to support this particular charity, and I am pleased that students are still prepared to support it. We are keen to widen students’ horizons, encourage compassion and global social awareness, and Operation Christmas Child continues to do this.
