Clyst Vale Community College's final Post 16 cohort is celebrating A Level results day with every student securing the results needed for their next step.

Whether moving on to university, apprenticeships, employment or further training, students have achieved outcomes that reflect their hard work, determination and resilience, alongside the high-quality teaching and support they have received throughout their time at Clyst Vale. The College is delighted to see students progressing to the destinations they have worked so hard towards. Among the standout performances were Lucy Grabham, who secured an A* in English Literature, A grades in Mathematics and Physics, and a B in her Extended Project Qualification, and Louis Williamson, who achieved A grades in Mathematics and Chemistry alongside a B in Physics. These are exceptional achievements and a testament to the commitment both students have shown throughout their studies.

There was further success for Finley Hopper, who has been awarded the Reading List Foundation Scholarship Award. The award includes a £275 Blackwell's voucher to support him with the purchase of university textbooks as he begins the next stage of his education.

Today's results carry additional significance as they belong to the final Post 16 cohort at Clyst Vale Community College. As the last students to complete their studies within the College's Sixth Form, they become part of a proud and lasting chapter in the College's history. It is fitting that they leave having secured the outcomes needed to progress to their chosen destinations, bringing Clyst Vale Post 16 to a successful close.

For many years, Clyst Vale Post 16 has supported young people in progressing to higher education, apprenticeships and employment. Generations of students have passed through the Sixth Form, developing the knowledge, skills and confidence to pursue their ambitions. The achievements of this final cohort provide a fitting conclusion to that legacy.
