Write for Rights
Thanks to the superb efforts of Ms Watt and the wonderful Amnesty International student group, Key Stage 3 students were able to learn about the work of Amnesty International and human rights. The Hall contained display boards about several prisoners of conscience, and students were able to take part in a Christmas card campaign and sign a wall of solidarity in favour of human rights. Through the sale of hot chocolate and cakes, students raised around £500 (it’s still being counted at the time of writing this!).
