Clyst Vale Celebrates Outstanding A-Level Success

Clyst Vale Community College is celebrating another year of remarkable A-level results, reflecting the hard work and dedication of its students, alongside the commitment and expertise of the teaching staff.

Claire Haynes, Head of Post-16 at the college, shared her pride in this year’s achievements: “It’s been an incredible results day for our Year 13 students, filled with well-deserved joy and relief. We are immensely proud of their success. The fact that all of our university applicants secured places on their chosen courses is brilliant news. Additionally, many students have already embarked on apprenticeships and careers, marking the beginning of exciting new chapters in their lives. As staff, it’s a true joy to witness their enthusiasm and ambition as they take these next steps.”

With 24% of the Year 13 cohort achieving A or A* grades and an overall pass rate of 97%, there is much to celebrate. While the college is proud of all its students, special recognition is due to those who achieved exceptional results:

Ted Harrison A*A*A*A*A, who will now study Mathematics at Edinburgh University

Charlie Harrison A*A*AA who will study Mathematics at Bath University

Ruby Davidson A*Distinction*A who is going to study Paramedic Science at the University of Surrey

Sophie Cherry A*Distinction*A  who will also be going to Surrey to study Biomedical Science

These results are a testament to the students’ hard work, the quality of teaching at Clyst Vale, and the supportive environment that nurtures talent and ambition. The College looks forward to seeing the bright futures that lie ahead for all its students as they embark on their next adventures.
