Ladies Rugby World Cup

It has been amazing to watch the Women’s Rugby World Cup take place over the last month, with several games hosted locally at Sandy Park Stadium.

Many of our students have attended to cheer on teams, but it was fantastic to see Lois Hargreaves in Year 11 give out the Player of the Match award to the New Zealand Black Ferns’ number 8, Kaipo Olsen-Baker, when the team played South Africa recently. Lois was given this honor due to her hard work with her own rugby team, Exeter Athletics.
