Moving up to secondary school can be an emotional time for pupils. Some feel positively about it and can’t wait to start; others are more anxious and nervous. We have therefore put together a comprehensive transition process that ensures that the move between primary and secondary school is a supported, personalised, and smooth process that recognises the needs of each individual pupil.
Important Upcoming Dates:
– Transition Coordinator visits to feeder schools – Various Dates in May
– Information packs sent to new students – May
– Y6 Non Feeder Schools evening – June
– New Intake Induction Days – July
– New Intake Parents Evening – July
– The Big Step Transition Programme at Clyst Vale: 19th – 23rd August 2024
– Open Evening (for 2025/2026 intake) – Tuesday 17th September 2024
– 6pm – Presentation from the Principal of the College in the main hall
Departments open throughout the College
– 7pm – Repeat of the Principal’s presentation
– 8pm – Close
If you are unable to attend our Open Evening please contact to arrange an alternative time to visit Clyst Vale. There will be a limited number of tours week beginning 23rd September 2024.
