Students Raise Money for Samaritans
A Year 10 Citizenship project requiring students to raise awareness of a charity of their choice has resulted in a cheque for £156.24 being handed to the Samaritans of Exeter, Mid and East Devon. The group of four students sold sweets at break and lunchtime for two days in order to raise the money. Monika from the Samaritans group was delighted and very grateful for the donation, which will be used to help with the core running of the branch.
