Summer of Exam Success !

There were great scenes of celebration at this summer’s Results Days. Our A2 results saw a pass rate of 97.8%, and all but two students progressing on to university (important this year, when there has been such demand for places). Special congratulations to Catherine Greenaway and Matt Bridge for gaining places at Oxford and Cambridge respectively, and to Jo Lovett for achieving a place at UCL to study medicine. Our AS results also saw an improvement on last year.

GCSE results broke all sorts of College records ! Our highest-ever 5+A*-C (with English and Maths) of 66%; highest-ever 5+A*-C in all subjects of 75%; highest ever proportion of C grades or better – 76%; one in eight students achieved at least 7A grades; 26% of students achieved at least 3A. Both English and Maths saw 80% of students achieve at least a C grade, best-ever results in both subjects.

Congratulations to all of our students for achieving such fantastic results, and to staff for all their hard work, and many thanks to parents for all your support and encouragement !!
