We welcomed our visitors from Ndururumo High School last Thursday evening. We are indebted to the parents of students who went to Kenya last year for hosting the students along the lines of a foreign exchange, to friends of the College Ken & Lorna Dyson and to Mrs Padden for sharing the hosting of the three teachers, Francis Mwangi (Head), Lucy Macharia and John Kamau.

The students spent Friday, most of Monday and Tuesday in Clyst Vale, experiencing lessons and interacting with our students.

At the weekend, the party spent the day in Exeter, visiting the Cathedral and Quay and experiencing the ride-past of the naked cyclists……… On Sunday, the Kenyans went to Buckfast Abbey and Dartmoor, ending the day with a traditional roast and apple pie & custard.

One aim of our partnership is to connect Primary Schools in England and Kenya, so on Monday afternoon our Kenyan visitors visited Rockbeare and Whimple Primary Schools, meeting all of the pupils and answering questions about school in Kenya, wildlife and food.
