Students Present Cheque to RNLI

On Tuesday 29th November, Mr Brooks and I took a group of students to the RNLI station at Exmouth to present them with a cheque for £491. This fantastic amount of money was raised in memory of Mr Harry Patch.
The RNLI gave us a wonderful guided tour of the station. We saw the new Shannon Class lifeboat and the inshore lifeboat, and were also presented with a shield for our fundraising activities since 2009.

The students invited on this trip were:  Luca Santillo, Lara Gimbuta, Jasmine Daniels, Harriet Cheeseman, Angel Justus, Hebe Poole, Roisin Rankin, Will Knight, Daniel Madams, Amelia Whateley, Josie Holding, Kody Nordqvist, Mollie Guerrin, Amalia Gimbuta and Sophie Sheppard.

The outing was a reward for the students’ contribution to the success of Harry Patch Day 2016.
