Students Win Cambridge & Oxford Residential Places
Five of our year 12 students have been offered residential places at Cambridge and Oxford University.
Alex Durston, Sally Worfolk, Anton Stefan, Tom Hart and Frazer Loveman will be staying at Downing College Cambridge on 25th June. They will have a tour of the City and of the Colleges. They will have dinner and overnight accommodation at Downing College. They will meet tutors at Cambridge and will be able to talk about the UCAS application process. Two of our former students are now at Downing College. Tom Chudley who is studying Geography at Downing is now a student access officer there.
The five students will then travel to Oxford. They will have dinner and overnight accommodation at Queens College Oxford on 26th June. They will have a chance to look around the Oxford Colleges and meet tutors and students on 27th June.
Places on these residentials are very limited. Cambridge University subsidies the travel costs for our five. They have done extremely well to win places on these residentials. Our liason offices at both Downing College Cambridge and Lincoln College Oxford have been very helpful.
Congratulations to Alex, Sally, Anton, Tom and Frazer.
