Duke of Edinburgh Success for Tom

Tom Ferdinand (Year13) has been awarded the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award which was presented to him at a special ceremony in the garden of Buckingham Palace at the start of May 2018. Tom was able to meet a number of other recipients, and also met the leader of the Jamaican Scouts organisation.

It has been a very exciting time for Tom. Just a few weeks before the visit to Buckingham Palace he was at Windsor Castle as he has also been awarded the Queen’s Scout Award.

Tom is planning to study at Cardiff University after finishing his A level exams with us.

We, in Post 16, are very proud of all Tom’s achievements.
