Woodwork wizard!

Year 8 student, Adam Cross, has been keeping busy during lockdown putting his practical woodwork skills to excellent use, creating a number of interesting outdoor items from the wood of a dismantled garden shed.

As you can see from the pictures, he has turned his hand to constructing a bird-table, a trailer, a catapult and a garden bench.

Adam’s DT teacher, Mr Purchall, was really impressed by these resourceful and imaginative ‘upcycling’ projects.
